3D Debra D. Davis Youth Guidance Program - Engagement Event
We are now taking registrations for our 1st EVER Youth Engagement Event scheduled for August 5, 2023 from 12pm - 3pm. This event is for youth 13 - 19 year old's. We will have a presentation from a STEM Expert, an open mic event with a prize, and sign up opportunities for other youth programs.

About the Event
The event agenda is as follows:
- We will check all the kids in and they will pick up a small snack.
- We will begin by seating the kids in a circle, and we will do an ice breaker activity.
- Scott Steward will start us off with his STEM programming.
- David Lubin will chat with the kids about starting a youth business and that it is possible!
- We will then have a poetry slam competition and one child will win a $50 gift visa card.
- During the poetry slam, the other agencies will come and set up a table or just float around the room to chat with the kids about their free youth programming and how to sign up.
- LUNCH OR MORE SNACKS!!!!!!!!
- The kids will do a short survey on what programming they want to see offered through our programming and what they thought of the event.
- We will end th event at 3pm.
This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
